My Volunteer

I have always loved to interact with children; through them, I see the world with fresh and innocent eyes. As I started to do community service for children, I was amazed by their different perspective and way of fighting through obstacles, and that encouraged me to not only be persistent, but also to walk  in others’  shoes to be more understanding.

The happiness within the children and the principle made my time in Lao Mei was invaluable; having the pleasure to teach many intelligent and adorable children was truly a blast.

Although I was the one teaching the children, I learned a valuable lesson from them that their different perspective and ways of fighting through obstacle encourage me in many ways.
